Description

Black and white view of a ruined castle, covered in trees and ivy, with a handwritten inscription on the right side. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated September 1st, 1927, signed 'St. Sarrin', and mentions the vestiges of the castle beneath the walls where Saint-Louis won the battle against Henry III of England in 1242. The publisher R. Bompavin is indicated at the bottom left.
