View of the walls of the historic castle of Taillebourg, with a restored corner tower built in 1714 by Prince Frédéric Guillaume de la Trémoille, and a stone fountain in the foreground. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Marcel Courrays in Petit-Caumont, dated January 15, 1912, and a French 20-centime postage stamp with cancellation.
