Description

Polish air mail envelope sent from Braniewo to Sarajevo (Yugoslavia), dated 14-500 (probably 14-500/1987) and franked with a block of four commemorative stamps: a high jump, a clematis, a measuring instrument, and a portrait of Johannes Hevelius. The reverse indicates the sender, Marek Hlasko, in Braniewo, and the recipient, Mr. Džemal Babić, in Sarajevo. An air mail stamp 'LOTNICZA PAR AVION' is affixed at the bottom right.
