Description

Interior view of the tomb of Napoleon I in Paris, Les Invalides, with the red granite sarcophagus built between 1843 and 1853. The printed text indicates that the ashes were transported in 1846. On the reverse, handwritten text addressed to Madame S. Dorne in Epernay (Marne), with a 10 centimes postage stamp and a dispatch postmark from Epernay dated August 12, 1908.
