Interior view of the nave of the Church of Saint-Gervais in Paris, severely damaged after the collapse of part of the vault caused by a shell fired by a long-range cannon on 29 March 1918. The floor is littered with stone debris and structural fragments. On the reverse, the printed text specifies that this event caused 75 deaths and 90 injuries. The publisher is listed as 'Ed. Ch.'.
