Military postcard dated 7 October 1915, sent from Tresométrie (Sarthe) to Mr. V. Garnier in Le Mans. The reverse contains a handwritten letter from soldier René Garnier, a stretcher-bearer in the 40th Marching Regiment, 11th Company, Sector 47, describing wartime conditions and difficulties with supplies. Two postmarks are present, one dated 11-10-1915 and the other 9-10-1915, with a post office stamp.
