Jamaican postcard dated 1917, sent as a registered letter to Mr. William Knuffle in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The reverse bears two postmarks from the Chicago Reg. Div. of June 7, 1917. The front shows a 1½d 'WAR STAMP' stamp and a 3d stamp, both canceled, as well as a postmark from Kingston, Jamaica, and a 'REGISTERED LETTER' postmark with number 171.
