Black and white panoramic view of a village nestled in a valley, dominated by the snow-capped Pic du Canigou. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated July 16, 1964, sent from Vernet-les-Bains to Reims, mentioning a walk in the Épagnonie and the sending of a postcard. French 20 franc (pink) stamp canceled in Paris 13th arrondissement.
