Bronze statue of the Capitoline Wolf, dating from the 5th century BC, depicting the wolf nursing the twins Romulus and Remus. Reverse: handwritten French text addressed to Madame Jean Fangière at Château de Melleroy, France, with an Italian 30 lire stamp and a 'POSTE ITALIANE' cancellation dated 20 April 1940.
