Two people in winter clothing walk through a snowy forest with oxen hitched to a cart, near maple trees with holes drilled in them. On the reverse, a postcard dated December 24, 1983, sent from Sutton, Maine, with a 40-cent USA stamp and a postmark 'SUTTON, MA'. The handwritten text mentions snow and the beauty of the landscape. The publisher is EASTERN ILLUSTRATING, Box 586, Union, Maine.
