Black and white view of the Italian refuge of Gran San Bernardo (2467 m) at the foot of a snowy mountain range. The reverse has handwritten writing indicating 'On a walk with a large ruby' and an address to Madame Martine in Paris, with an Italian 20 lire stamp and a postmark from Chambéry dated May 1st, 1955. The publisher is S.A.C.A.T. of Torino.
