Interior of a Benedictine abbey with a large painting by F. J. Spiegler (1734) depicting the Assumption of the Virgin, framed by two statues of saints. The reverse indicates the publisher Verlag Stiftsdruckerei Engelberg, the destination to Paris, and a French 20-franc postmark canceled in Strasbourg on 28-2-1989. The address is handwritten for Passerini Anne-Marie in Strasbourg.
