Colorized view of Piazza San Marco in Venice, with the Basilica di San Marco and the Campanile tower surrounded by a flock of flying pigeons. The reverse features a multilingual inscription (English, French, German) and a handwritten letter dated 17-4-65, addressed to Madame J.S. Grenetti in Ajaccio (Corsica), with an Italian 25 centesimi postage stamp and a Venetian postmark.
