View of the Romanesque church of Surgères, with its bell tower and arched portal, surrounded by a garden and a fence. Printed text indicates its status as a historic monument. Reverse: handwritten address to Monsieur Laccis in Courbevoie (Seine), with a green 15-centime stamp and a postmark from La Rochelle dated August 24, 1928.
