Panoramic view of Lake Thoune with the steep road of Axenstrasse in the foreground and the snow-capped peaks of Fluelen and Bristenstock in the background. On the reverse, handwritten text indicates a return from the chapel of St. Gotthard, in Fluelen, dated August 13, 1902. The address is directed to Madame Berthier, 77 Rue du Pont, Paris. Swiss 10-centime postage stamp and postmark from Sisikon dated August 13, 1902.
