View of the Bernouël locks on the Boutonne in Saint-Jean-d'Angély, with a small building and a bridge in the background, surrounded by bare forests. Reverse: postcard sent to Mr. Pruisset at Maison Rouge in Orange, dated 2-1-43, with handwritten text describing sights to see in Châny, and two obliterated red 30-centime stamps from Nantes.
