Colored view of a castle ruin perched on a steep mountain side, surrounded by forests and snow-capped peaks. The printed text at the top reads 'Ruins of Schröfenstein near Landeck. (Tyrol.)'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Paul Detumes in Saint-André, dated July 22, 1917, with a postmark and a Landeck cancellation.
