Black and white view of the Rochers de Vallières in Royan, with a large rock in the background and two massive rock columns in the foreground, bordering a wet beach. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 22, 1933, addressed to 'Dear Grandmother,' signed 'Hélène,' mentioning walks and waves. The publisher is indicated at the bottom of the reverse as 'Cie Aînés des Arts Pionniers.' The stamp and cancellation are not visible.
