Sepia-toned view of the ruins of the Roman Forum in Rome, highlighting the Basilica Costantina with its partially collapsed arches and columns. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated December 23, 1923, sent from Rome to Madame Henriette Gourgeaud in Gourde et Grise, France, accompanied by an Italian 10 centesimi stamp with a postmark.
