Black and white view of the monumental entrance to the Gate of Notre Dame in Nyon, framed by a stone archway with a suspended streetlight, offering a perspective of a path bordered by trees and buildings. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Gérard in Lausanne, with a 10 franc Helvetia stamp canceled in Antoines-Plage on September 7, 1956.
