Description

Statue of the crowned Virgin Mary on an ornate pedestal, at the top of a hill surrounded by trees. Printed text at the bottom: '2 - NOTRE-DAME DE PRIME-COMBE - The Virgin of the Hill'. On the reverse, a handwritten address to Madame Bavary in L'Estaque (Marseille), a 10 centime postal stamp, and a postmark from Charente dated 16/08/1938.
