Printed text on the front indicates the purpose: to provide a renewable annual allowance to blind soldiers. Back: handwritten correspondence dated March 30, 1916, addressed to Madame Mademoiselle, mentioning convalescence and a wish to see a soldier again. Postage stamp and postmark from Allier visible.
