Description

Panoramic view of the village of Melchtal surrounded by snow-capped mountains (Nünalphorn, Hutstock, Barglen), with cows grazing in the foreground and a church in the center. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 20, sent from Melchtal to Modora Pousse in Frankreich (Loire), with a Swiss postage stamp canceled.
