Painted illustration of a rural Spanish landscape with a stone house, large tree, small bridge, and two cows near a stream. On the back, a handwritten letter in Spanish addressed to 'Quendelimo Pape' in Paris, dated 1940, sent from Montevideo by José Lióz. Two Spanish stamps of 20 and 25 cents are affixed, canceled with 'RCEIO'.
