Description

View of the Gothic ruins of the Abbey Church and Cathedral of MaiLezais, built in the 11th century by Abbot Théodelin and beautifully restored in the 16th century by Bishop Jean d'Amboise. The printed text on the front mentions that the ruin was started by the Protestants and completed by the Revolution. The back indicates the publisher 'Phototype Jehly-Poupin, Montagne' and the areas for correspondence and address.
