Panoramic view of Lucerne with the Pilatus in the background, a steamboat sailing on the lake and the train station building in the foreground. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 9 September 1937, addressed to Mr. J. Chard in Montagny, with a green 20-centime stamp and a postmark from Sisikon (Uri).
