Description

View of the Tower Bridge in London, with a steamer navigating under the bridge. The reverse indicates that the bridge was designed by Sir John Wolfe Barry, that its two movable bridges weigh 950 tonnes each and are raised by hydraulic machinery. It is addressed to the Millard family in Brussels, with a 2 shillings stamp and a Stockwell cancellation dated 2 June 1952.
