Black and white view of a watercourse bordered by trees, with the inscription 'The Shores of the Vendée' and 'The Vendée at Orbrie'. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated 2 September 1922, addressed to Madame Emile Buetter in Paris, with a 25-centime blue stamp and a postmark of 'LES RIVES DE LA VENDÉE' (Sèvres).
