Description

Humorous postcard showing a little girl in a yellow dress and pink hat, unable to reach a box marked 'FOR THE SICK', being addressed by a man in a black coat. The printed English text says: 'What are you doing here, missy? Please sir—I want to be sick and I can’t reach the box !'. On the reverse, handwritten French text addresses the card to 'Madame Gmee Trieue, St Michel-en-l'Herm, Vendée, France', with a postal stamp and partial cancellation.
