Corner view of an impressive Victorian hotel in Paddington, with a slate roof and an ornate balcony on the first floor. The printed text at the bottom of the card identifies the establishment. On the reverse, a postcard dated December 31, 1908, sent to Jules Lombard in La Turbie, Alpes-Maritimes, with a 1d green stamp and a handwritten inscription 'Happy New Year'.
