Little girl in a plaid dress and leather shoes, holding a bouquet of lilacs and roses, standing on a porch in front of a wooden door. Printed text at the top: 'Good luck my little soldier LONG LIVE FRANCE'. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated December 4, 1914, addressed to a 'dear friend' and signed 'your brother', with a postmark of 'BORDEAUX'.
