View of the ambulatory of the crypt of the church of Saint-Eutrope in Saintes, dating from the 12th century, with ornate columns featuring carved capitals and round arches. The reverse bears handwritten text dated 1910, mentioning a trip to Saintes and an invitation from Cardinal Verdier, as well as the publisher's stamp 'BRANU' and a cancellation mark.
