Description

Aerial view of the crucero of Burgos Cathedral, a Spanish Gothic masterpiece begun in 1227 and completed in 1568, adorned with sculptures and complex architectural details. Back: handwritten text describing the building as a gigantic and perfect work, addressed to Madame Bl. Goix in Pays-Billot (Haute-Marne, France), with a Spanish 25 centimos postage stamp and a Burgos postmark dated 20.11.29.
