Devastated view of Lille Street in Ypres, showing the ruins of a religious building and collapsed structures after the battles of World War I. The reverse features handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Mademoiselle Germaine' in Borey, with a Belgian military stamp dated August 25, 1916, and an address in Paris.
