Postcard showing a commemorative monument with a statue of Liberty on a column, flanked by two lions, and a man in period costume posing at its feet. The printed text relates to the battle of the Vendéens against the Republicans on July 26, 1793, in Angers. The reverse presents the typical correspondence and address areas of a postcard, with a handwritten inscription '49' and a watermark 'CPAdeCollection'.
