On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated September 1929, addressed to a friend in Saint-Eugène, describing a visit to Alger with a friend, the enchanting terraces, the mosque, and the mild air. The reverse bears the publisher L. & X. and an obliterated Algerian postmark.
